The first movie provided adequate closure to one of TV’s best series, but this sequel is a mess. Heavy promos of our favorite New York quartet in Abu Dhabi was such a bad idea, a Miley Cyrus cameo was irritating, Carrie running into Aiden halfway around the world is just ludicrous, and the Liza Minelli thing was downright embarrassing. How disrespectful and thoughtless of the screenwriter(s) to toss devoted fans this trash called SATC 2.

just because a movie is bad, does not mean that the acting is bad too. thats simply what critics always say in bad movies. SJP was marvelous as Carrie Bradshaw..she won 4 Globes for her role and tell me what changed in her acting besides her age? didn’t like the movie either as a fan, but all actresses tried to make the best of it and did a great job with such a lame script

I totally diagree with all the comments Roeper has to say about the movie.
Because all the women can relate to all this problems. and singing the song i am woman, means a lot for women. The song stands for being a women, going true everything a woman goes to and surviving it al, gaining a lot of wisdom!! Being a woman is hard and this movie can be seen as a celebration to womanhood!!The conversations between the girlfriends is typical, we don’t always have deep conversations!! Your just a man!

the TV series was awesome, the first movie also great, but in this second movie just like a runway fashion only, no good act eventhough Carrie still awesome

have to agree with the reviewer. the tv series was brilliant, but the plot and script of this movie was pretty poor. Bradshaw gets the opulant lifestyle she’s always wanted and then she’s unhappy that her and Big are too “married”? please……

oh please you can say everything about the story and the movie, but there was definitely no bad acting! Cattrall put a brilliant performance out of the lame script! and SJP was also charming as Carrie! so just because you didn’t like the movie does not mean the acting was bad! be objective as a critic!

PS. please watch some other reviews because there are a lot of women who bashed this film too. The correct way of seeing this is that the die hard fans will love it no matter what (for the most part), and the non-fans and casual fans of the series really have not liked the movies.
