I agree on the whole Chris Brown thing.
I used to be a huge Chris Brown fan but after what he did, I lost all respect for him.

I was in an abusive relationship for a year. My now ex was verbally, physically, and sexually abusive. He kept me around by threatening me and the lives of my family. @Deosarian – I bring facts in my argument, while you just make up ridiculous scenarios to try and prove your non-existent point, and then resort to immature name-calling when it backfires. As I said earlier, when it comes to a crime the law generally looks at 3 things, the intent behind the crime (was it premeditated or not), the severity of the crime (was it petty or federal offense), and whether or not the accused has a history of related crimes before.

Sex today is totally different from in the past. Our lifespan’s way longer now so we marry later. We evolved to have sex as teenagers! Now we have birth control, so women don’t have to be as afraid of sex getting them pregnant and totally changing their life. Finally, it was so controlled by society cuz its a survival issue, controlling how many babies you can afford to feed and clothe. Our ideas need to catch up with our new reality!

Just like Jonneke, I’m from the Netherlands too, and I absolutely agree with her. I think people should know everything there is to know about sex and after that make their own disicions about it.
I didn’t realize sex was such a taboo in the US, I thought sex education was the same as here, very open. And to be honest, I’m a bit shocked about that. I thought the US were just as progressive as the Netherlands are, but I guess they’re not, though they really should be.

I wouldn’t disagree with saying that catholicism and christianity has made some HUGE mistakes. The Crusades are a perfect example. Why did this happen?
