Emporio Armani Men’s Collection Spring/Summer 2010 – Part 2

CITY CONNECTIONS Fashion as an expression of the cosmopolitan. This is the portrait of an individualist generation: confident of its talents, already established, living with a new sense of international group identity. This generation has a connection, a network between different countries, professions and styles, and immense cities like Tokyo and New York are referenced here through a series of different moods and moments. 100% BRUMOTTI Vittorio Brumotti, known professionally as 100% Brumotti, will open the Emporio Armani men’s show with a special performance of spectacular acrobatics on his bike. The world bike trial champion, appearing on the Italian TV programme Striscia la Notizia, won his fifth entry in the Guinness Book of World Records by launching himself from a 17 metre high rock astride his bike.

@Williametched I see your point, I like to think of it more as a test of the clothing’s performance.

In my opinion I think that the designers are looking for models with good “bone structure” which gives a person a more charecteristic appearance and possibly more intressting to look at.

    But thats just my opinion.

the collection is so so so good. Love it!

  10. Movzhuru Says:

@lsunglassesatnightl well, I am sure MANY men would dream of bodies like these models’. I definitely would. Although some would prefer Jack Black’s body – nothing wrong with that.

  11. Williametched Says:

There’s a common misconception that the designers are saying, look at these skinny models, to be beautiful, you have to look like them. When in fact, a skinny frame allows for clothing to sit best in its structure. For all intensive purposes, the models aren’t wearing the clothes, the clothes are wearing the model.

  12. Ph1lipFH Says:

only because your big or something similar, it dosen’t meen that the models are to small or that the clothes won’t fit the customers. The models are the size they should be, except for some abit big. I’m the same size and know many others too.

A comment to the collection: Think it’s very bad.Mostly of the clothes look cheep. The materials used and zipjackets.

  13. lsunglassesatnightl Says:

why don’t the models have at least a little more muscle?

there’s no point in designing clothing for people who obviously don’t eat enough-it won’t fit either them or the customer well
