I actually looked up the laws pertaining to fire arms when I was building mine. A gun is considered to be anything that propels a projectile using explosives or compressed gas.
Coil guns use electromagnetic force so they are not considered to be firearms and therefore all firearm laws don’t pertain to them, even though coil guns can be lethal.

Needs a bit more power
nonetheless a very impressive feat. Add some capacitors and and maybe a third stage and you’ll have the military buying those by the truckload.

i think you needs more Capacitors
up to 1000µF to has more POWER
