Memory cards and rechargable batteries are cheap, especially if you’ve ever missed a photo ’cause you ran out of juice, or space on a CF card! We list the lens cleaning tools we use, too, remind every new DSLR owner to buy a UV Filter to protect their expensive camera lens, RTFM before the big shoot, and more! Pocket Tripods! August 31st, 2010 at 11:27 pm
@imnotbad9
Ummm, actually, it does. I’m right, you’re wrong.
Windows assigns all cycles and RAM to a full-screen application, meaning that there’s about a sliver of a millionth of an FPS in difference, if at all.
Now shut up. You’re wrong, and you’re making an idiot out of yourself. Learn how a fuckin’ OS works first before talking out of your ass.

@TheUberDeity
Actually it doesnt.
Xp is more efficient for gaming, it uses less ram.

oh yo how do u get all ur icons on the top or ur desktop?
September 1st, 2010 at 1:21 am
@IWEBProductions
What you’re forgetting is that XP was designed in an era with less demanding hardware. From a performance point of view, it’s still a negligible thing unless you start getting into beefier applications with DX10 and 11 runtime libraries. Running Vista on a single-core Athlon 3200+ with 1GB of RAM is a LOT different than running Windows 7 on the same machine. Windows 7 will run fantastic on it, almost identical to XP. Vista wont
September 1st, 2010 at 1:56 am
I was just noting that XP is better in performance, of course 7 has advantages due to directx 11. He asked me which one in better in terms of performance and not quality, so I told him.
September 1st, 2010 at 2:06 am
Not really, say if I test a good video game on XP which of course uses directx 9 and the same game on windows 7 which uses directx 11, both using a sucky graphics card. You’ll noticeably see better frame rate on XP than 7. The fact is that running windows 7 alone uses up more resources than running XP, plus the greater directx technology that 7 uses will also have some degrading effect. However, using a very good graphics card on both, you may not see any noticeable difference.

September 1st, 2010 at 3:45 am
7 was built off of vista. So in other words 7 is basically an update of vista, vista with added features and looks basically.
September 1st, 2010 at 4:36 am
i Think 7 is 90% vista

@Vgeorge7
Errrmmm, no.
September 1st, 2010 at 7:16 am
@TheUberDeity So windows xp is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 7 (only on performance)
September 1st, 2010 at 7:41 am
@Vgeorge7
And make bloody sure that you have a graphics card capable of eating DX10 or 11 games for breakfast, too. Right now 11 is fairly new, but 10 has been out for awhile. I’d recommend at least a 1GB card. If you can go higher, go higher.
September 1st, 2010 at 8:14 am
@Vgeorge7
Don’t listen to IWEBProductions, he’s dead WRONG. Windows 7 has several advantages over XP in terms of gaming, not the least of which is support for DirectX 10 and 11 graphics libraries which XP will NEVER have.
His comment about performance is ridiculous. 7, XP, and VIsta all dedicate maximum resources to a full-screen application (ie: game) so the differences in framerate will be negligible.
He’s only right about the hardware, which is the only thing that counts.
September 1st, 2010 at 8:28 am
i still love windows vista lol~
September 1st, 2010 at 9:14 am
i LOvE Windows 7
September 1st, 2010 at 9:46 am
XP, but it really depends on how good your graphics card is. Games will always perform better in XP. And then they say oh Windows 7 got directx11 while XP only got directx9. Directx11 is supposed to make the graphics look better but apparently it dwindles performance. If you got a really good video card then it will be better to play in Windows 7.
September 1st, 2010 at 10:28 am
what version of windows is better for games 7 or xp ???
September 1st, 2010 at 11:00 am
