I always took as: The old man who hit on her before finally got his way while Edina was passed out, and the servant knew, which is why he gave her that look.

Where do you get that? It’s just Edina and Patsy being their usual terrible selves… just like they were in France, and just like they are with Saffy’s friends. They’re a completely self absorbed, insensitive, slightly xenophobic pair of histrionics no matter where they are or how erudite they pretend to be. That’s the point.

@OctoberWytche , ohhhh, that sounds like RAb NEsbitt, have you seen that show? He used this spray to give himself a stiffy and sprayed in his mouth by accident and one finger got stiff too lol. If you want, I can find that episode, you will laugh!!
